2007 Skoda Roomster Scout

After the premiere of the Skoda Octavia Scout at the 2006 Paris Motor Show, the Skoda Roomster Scout is a second vehicle of the Scout family, a design line that adds distinct off-road elements to passenger vehicles. Compared with the basic version, the Skoda Roomster Scout is mainly different in terms of new design elements and larger outer dimensions (4,219 mm x 1,695 mm x 1,650 mm). Just like the basic version, the Skoda Roomster Scout is a front-wheel drive vehicle.

As a recommendation for those short breaks away from the city, the Skoda Roomster Scout stands prepared on its attractive 17" alloy wheels and with equipment that simply cries out for adventure and is absolutely ideal for this. It is the best companion for work or leisure, when the trip leads out of the city into open country.

The front of the Skoda Roomster Scout is characterised by a prominent bumper in which the centre also acts as the air intake. There is also a version available with cornering lighting. The front wings are protected by plastic strips. It is a matter of individual choice. The individual elements create the impression of a single, encompassing protective side moulding. Large side protective strips on the doors and the sills are typical features of the Skoda Roomster Scout. The functional strips on the wheel arches underline the visual impression even further while the roof rails are provided as standard in black. The rear bumper is two-coloured, dark grey surfaces combined with the silver colour of the under protection. The SunSet system in the tailgate, rear side windows and the rear windows (dark tinted glass in the standard package) makes the vehicle's exterior even more attractive.

In the interior, the Skoda Roomster Scout provides the same high degree of flexibility provided by the other versions in the range, while also having a special interior design suited to the car's characteristic style. The variable seating in the rear, the living room of the Skoda Roomster, which clearly differs from the driver-oriented front section, provides fantastic spaciousness. With a load capacity of 1,780 litres it also advances to the top of its class in transport power.

The Skoda Roomster Scout is equipped exclusively with a choice of four-cylinder petrol engines, the 1.4 16V and 1.6 16V as well as with the diesel engines, 1.4 TDI PD/59 kW and 1.9 TDI PD/77 kW. All of the engine versions are combined with a manual five-speed gear. As an alternative, the most powerful petrol engine can be combined with six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
