Škoda Octavia Laurin & Klement and Škoda Octavia Combi Laurin & Klement are powered by 1.8 20V Turbo/110 kW (150 bhp), 1.9 TDI/81 kW (110 bhp) and the new 1.9 TDI/96 kW diesel engine. With the 1.8 20V Turbo/110 kW (150 bhp) engine, it is also possible to order automatic transmission. Additionally, both Laurin & Klement models - saloon and estate - are also available with 4x4 drive. This version is powered by the petrol 1.8 20V Turbo/110 kW (150 bhp) engine.
Škoda Octavia Laurin & Klement saloon and estate come with the highest level of equipment: driver and front passenger airbags; electronic air-conditioning (Climatronic); heated front seats; electrically controlled front and rear windows; an electric sunroof with an anti-block device; GSM telephone preparation including a dual aerial; electric wiring and universal connector, a superb Škoda Symphony sound system with an MC player, eight speakers and a CD changer. The equipment also includes tinted electrically controlled and heated external mirrors and a folding key with remote controlled central locking/alarm.
The Škoda Octavia Laurin & Klement differs externally from other versions of the Octavia model primarily through its 16" wheels of chrome-surfaced light alloy, intended exclusively for this model, and also the chromed trim above the number-plate frame. Located above the side indicator lights are logos with the model designation.
The Carneol design interior includes beige leather and chrome details combined with Alcantara micro-fibre on the central section of the seats. The side sections and armrests, the knob and gaiter of the gear lever and hand brake lever are all in beige leather, the steering wheel in black. The luxurious character of the interior is emphasized by the wood design, the chrome rims on the dashboard instruments, and the door safety knobs, the lock of the storage pocket on the front passenger's side and the woven mats. In cars fitted with manual transmission, the leather gear lever knob has a decorative chrome Laurin & Klement badge.
